Visiting & booking
Do you take walk-ins?+
Yes. JCo Auto welcomes walk-ins Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, for maintenance, inspections, tires, alignment, diagnostics and repair. Calling ahead at (855) 502-8052 is advised. Installs, security, car audio and key services are by appointment only.
What are your hours?+
Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. We're closed Saturdays and Sundays. An after-hours key drop is available at the side of the building, by the bay door.
Do you have an after-hours key drop?+
Yes. There's an after-hours key drop at the side of the building, by the bay door. You can drop your keys outside of business hours.
Where is JCo Auto?+
JCo Auto is at 347 39 Ave SE, Calgary, just off Macleod Trail, across the street from the Calgary City Impound Lot and near the 39 Avenue CTrain Station.
Can I wait while you work?+
Call ahead and we'll let you know how long your job should take, so you can decide whether to wait or come back.
Vehicles & services
What vehicles do you work on?+
We work on cars, sedans, minivans, vans, SUVs and pickup trucks, including commercial pickups. We don't service heavy-duty trucks, semis or large commercial vehicles.
Do you work on minivans and work trucks?+
Yes. We service minivans, vans and pickup trucks, including commercial pickups. We don't service heavy-duty trucks, semis or large commercial vehicles.
Do you do body work or electrical repair?+
No. JCo Auto doesn't do body work or electrical repair. We do mechanical repair and maintenance, plus installs like remote starters, screens and cameras by appointment.
Who will work on my car?+
A Red Seal journeyman mechanic with 20 years in the trade.
Is JCo Auto licensed and insured?+
Yes. JCo Auto is licensed by AMVIC (the Alberta Motor Vehicle Industry Council) and fully insured, and our mechanic is a Red Seal journeyman with 20 years in the trade.
Do you service cars from the impound lot across the street?+
Yes. We're right across the street from the Calgary City Impound Lot. Walk in Monday to Friday, 9 to 5, or call ahead and we'll take a look.
Pricing, payment & financing
How much will my repair cost?+
It depends on your car and what it needs, so we don't list prices online. Call or book and we'll diagnose the problem and give you the price before any work begins.
Do you offer financing?+
Yes. Financing is available for larger repairs, so you can fix your car now and pay over time. Ask about it when you call or book.
What payment methods do you accept?+
Debit, credit card, Interac e-Transfer and cash.
Installs & keys
Do I need an appointment for a remote starter or CarPlay install?+
Yes. All installs — remote starters, CarPlay and Android Auto screens, cameras, GPS trackers, alarms, kill switches and car audio — are by appointment only. No walk-ins.
What do I need for a key or fob appointment?+
Have your year, make and model ready when you book, and bring your existing key if you have one. Key cutting and key fob programming are by appointment only.
